NSW SLED Approved Security Trainer and Assessor

Affirm Training is a nationally accredited RTO delivering nationally recognised short courses and qualifications for a portfolio of corporate clients, local government agencies, event and venue operators and a workforce of 2,400 employees.

We are seeking Current SLED approved and qualified trainers to deliver the SLED training packages.

Mandatory qualifications
• Cert IV Training and Assessment [TAE40116 or equivalent] or a higher level qualification in adult education
• NSW Security Licence (1AC / 2D) current SLED approved Trainer and Assessor
• Certificate II in Security Operations [CPP20218 or equivalent]
• Desirable - Certificate III in Security Operations [CPP31318 or equivalent]
• Desirable - Certificate III in Close Protection Operations [CPP31418]
• Provide First Aid [HLTAID003 or equivalent]

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment (classroom, online, mentoring workshops)
• Administer training and assessment activities
• Maintain and control students records (support administration)
• Ensure compliance with the VET Quality Framework / SLED Conditions of Approval
• Assist with validation of training materials and learner's assessments

Skills and experience
• 5+ years current industry experience
• Demonstrated industry experience, vocational skills and knowledge
• Sound understanding of compliance with the VET Quality Framework
• NSW Drivers Licence (preferred)
• SLED Training and Assessment Matrix of currency

The opportunity is full-time hours with multiple positions available commencing January to June 2021 inclusive.
